The Center of Reentry Excellence (CORE) has a live calendar of onsite providers. Additional provider onsite hours, events, and activities will be added as they are scheduled.

Save the dates! Members are invited to join CORE for monthly engagement events. These events will take place in the evening from 4-7pm at the CORE unless otherwise noted. Some events will take place in the community. This will be a safe space for members to have fun, participate in activities, and connect with others. We look forward to seeing you at our next monthly event. CORE is launching its Ambassador Program, designed to run in cohorts of six (6) months with three (3) cohorts per year. This part-time learning opportunity entails up to 20 hours of work per week at Alameda County’s minimum wage. Collaborating with Rubicon Programs’ Workforce Services, ambassadors will facilitate the transition to long-term employment. Community Event Development Personal Growth Support in Ride Facilitation Speaking to the Community Must be on Alameda County AB 109 Adult Probation. This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals to contribute to community development, personal growth, and systemic change while gaining valuable professional experience and making a tangible impact on the lives of others. CORE is taking the party to the diamond! Join the CORE team at the A’s game vs. St. Louis Cardinals On April 17th @ 12:37, CORE will be attending A’s Game. You must be on AB 109: Adult Probation in Alameda County to attend the baseball game through CORE. Please find CORE staff waiting at Gate D starting at 12 pm to get your ticket. Staff will be waiting until 1:10 at the gate, which is 30 minutes after the start of the game. Transportation may be available. Streets Team Recruitment

ACPD Reentry Team is partnering with Alameda County’s Social Services Agency and other community partners to host the Annual Fair Chance Resource & Job Fair on Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 11 am – 3 pm at the RingCentral Coliseum (7000 Coliseum Way, Oakland, CA). This annual event strives to connect previously incarcerated or system-impacted individuals to background-friendly jobs and community resources that will support their reentry journey. However, it is open to anyone seeking employment. It is anticipated that there will be over 80 employers and resources present.
